Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use NameJoiner.com. The short version: there are no accounts, the names you type stay in your browser, and at the time of writing the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising.

What you type into the tools

The names, words and options you enter are processed by code running in your own browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party, and we do not store, log or see them. The generated results exist only on your screen. Close the tab and they are gone.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, sign in or give us an email address, and we have no forms that collect personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like almost any web host, Vercel’s servers process basic technical data to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in standard server logs for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify you. See Vercel’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Cookies, analytics and local storage

As of the date above, NameJoiner does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking scripts, does not show ads, and does not write to your browser’s local storage. Fonts are the ones already on your device, so no font service is contacted either.

We plan to add privacy-friendly analytics and possibly advertising in future. If we do, we will update this policy before or when that happens, describe what is collected and by whom, and add a consent choice where the law requires one.

Some results offer a link to check whether a name is available elsewhere: a domain search on Namecheap, or a profile page on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or X. Those links open in another site only when you click them, and the name you chose becomes part of that address, so the other site will see it. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.

The Business Name Generator’s domain links may become affiliate links in future. If they do, they will be labeled, and the registrar may set its own cookies once you arrive on its site. It will not cost you anything extra.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in a region with data protection laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA and believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will look into it and answer.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes, such as adding analytics or ads, will be reflected here at the same time.
