Each tool is built for one job, with its own options and its own look, so you are not wrestling a generic generator to do something it was not designed for.

Rules and word lists, not AI
Every tool here runs on hand-built rules and hand-picked word lists. There is no AI model behind them. To blend two names, the code splits each into syllables, tries a handful of techniques (overlapping shared sounds, swapping syllables, reversing, joining whole words) and then scores each result by how easy it is to say out loud. The best ones rise to the top.
That has two practical consequences. First, the same input gives the same list, so you can come back tomorrow and find the names you liked. The only exceptions are the options labeled Random. Second, we can explain any result: hover over a name and the tool tells you which technique produced it.
It also means the tools have honest limits. Two very short or near-identical names produce short lists, and the tools say so instead of padding them with weak options. A generator that follows rules cannot know that a name feels right to you. Treat every result as a starting point, and trust your own ear for the final call.
Your words stay in your browser
The names and words you type are processed on your own device, inside the page. They are not sent to a server and we do not keep them. The Privacy Policy has the details, including what happens when you click an outbound link such as a domain search.
Why it is free
The tools are free because they are cheap to run: the site is static, and the name-making happens on your device rather than on our servers. There is no paywall, no daily limit and no account.
We hope to cover the costs of running and improving the site with advertising and affiliate links, for example when a business name result links to a domain registrar. As of the last update to this page, neither is live. If that changes, affiliate links will be labeled where you see them and will never make anything cost you more.
